Park and Sell Your Car – St. Albert’s Hassle‑Free Car Selling Solution

About Park and Sell Your Car – St. Albert, Alberta

Your Car. Your Price. Our Lot.

Selling a vehicle in St. Albert can be challenging—private listings often lead to endless calls, low offers, and wasted time. At Park and Sell Your Car, we provide a professional and hassle‑free alternative. Our service allows you to display your vehicle in a high‑visibility lot and receive targeted online exposure, ensuring your car sells quickly and at the right price.

Who We Are

Park and Sell Your Car is a trusted, locally operated service dedicated to helping Alberta vehicle owners sell with confidence. We combine secure on‑site parking with proven marketing strategies, offering a solution that’s safer and more effective than selling privately.

If you’ve decided to sell your Acura – Alfa Romeo – Aston Martin – Audi – Bentley – BMW – Buick – Chevrolet – Cadillac – Chrysler – Dodge – Ferrari – Fiat – Ford – GM – GMC – Honda – Hyundai – Infiniti – Jaguar – Jeep – Kia – Volvo – Lincoln – Lexus – Maserati – Mazda – Mercedes Benz – Mini – Mitsubishi – Nissan – Porsche – Ram – Subaru – Tesla – Toyota – Volkswagen – Lamborghini, the big question you’re likely faced with is, how much should I sell it for? Setting a competitive listing price is key to a smooth transaction – price too high and car shoppers will scroll right by. Price too low and you lose potential profits.

Our Services

  • On‑Lot Display: High‑traffic, secure parking lot in St. Albert where buyers can view your vehicle in person.

  • Digital Marketing Campaigns: Online listings and social media promotion targeted to St. Albert, Edmonton, and surrounding Alberta areas.

  • Transparent Pricing: Flat Fees and no hidden costs—sellers keep full control of their transaction.

  • Expert Support: Assistance with pricing, vehicle preparation, and sales guidance to achieve the best outcome.

What you should consider

The value of your car depends heavily on the condition of the car and what’s happened to it over its lifespan. You need to consider these factors: • Age of the car • Mileage • Wear and tear, inside and out • How well it was cared for and maintained • Any flaws or mechanical issues • The vehicle’s accessories and added features • Recent updates made to the car • How quickly you need to sell the vehicle.

Price it right

Set a competitive asking price with help from Canadian Auto Napa. Pricing your vehicle based on what others are listing for online could set you up for disappointment as a vehicle’s asking price is not always what it sells for. Make your listings stand out with a realistic asking price that considers the vehicle’s unique history, plus what similar vehicles have sold for in your area.

Should you trade in your vehicle or sell it privately? When you’re selling your used car, one thing you need to decide on is who you want to sell it to. Do you want to trade your car in to a dealership or sell it privately? Your answer could depend on how much time and effort you want to put into making the sale.

  1. If you take it to a dealership for a trade-in, they may offer you less than you feel the vehicle is worth, especially if they must put money into the car to sell it and make a profit.
  2. Trading in your car at a dealership is an easy sale, but you might not get as much money for the car as you would if you sold through our Canadian Auto Napa park and sell services.
  3. When a dealer buys your car, their offer will account for the money it will cost them to recondition the car, so they can sell it and make a profit. Any little scratch, dent or upholstery stain will need to be fixed, and the cost of that repair will likely impact the trade-in value and be deducted from your offer.
  4. If you decide to sell your vehicle privately, then it’s your responsibility to store and market your car, comply with any provincial requirements, as well as meet and negotiate with buyers. You may get more for your vehicle through a private sale, but it could also take longer to make the sale.
  5. When you sell a vehicle privately, it is your responsibility to market the car, comply with any provincial requirements and negotiate with buyers. It will take longer and require more effort – a decision that you must make.

🚗 If You Still Have a Loan on the Vehicle

Step 1: Get the Payoff Amount

      • Obtain an up-to-date payoff statement from your lender.

Step 2: Paying Off the Loan

      • Canadian Auto sends payment directly to the lien holder.

      • This clears the loan and ensures the lien is released.

        Step 3: Two Scenarios

        • If Sale Price > Loan Payoff:

          • You receive the remaining balance minus the 10% fee.

          • Example:

            • Sale price = $20,000

            • Loan payoff = $15,000

            • Fee (10% of $20,000) = $2,000

            • Net to you = $3,000

        • If Sale Price < Loan Payoff:

          • You must cover the shortfall.

          • Example:

            • Sale price = $15,000

            • Loan payoff = $18,000

            • Shortfall = $3,000 (you bring this in)

            • You still pay the 10% fee.

        📜 Paperwork & Lien Release

        • All paperwork is handled by Canadian Auto.

          • They pay off liens directly.

          • Licensed staff process ownership transfer and filings.

        • Your role: Just sign the Bill of Sale.

        • Lien Release:

          • Lender issues release once paid in full.

          • Canadian Auto provides a form to speed this up.

        🔑 Key Terms

          • Lien: Legal claim by lender until the loan is fully paid.

          • Lien Payoff: Full settlement of the loan balance to release the lien.

        👉 In short:
Selling through Canadian Auto is hands-off — they collect the buyer’s funds, pay off your lender if needed, deduct their fee, handle the paperwork, and send you your cheque.
