SHOP POLICY AND DISCLAIMER IN EFFECT AND APPLICABLE TO ALL RETAIL AND FLEET SERVICE CUSTOMER.

CUSTOMER HEREBY AGREE AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO FOLLOW AND COMPLY THE FOLLOWING BELOW:

REPAIR ORDER DISCLAIMER:

I hereby authorize Canadian Auto Napa (Canadian auto remarketing (car) ltd) and their employees to conduct the automotive repair work described vehicle and to buy on my account any parts and materials necessary to conduct the repair work subject to the estimate described above. I hereby authorize the business to operate this vehicle in connection with the repair work, including operation for the purpose of testing, inspection or delivery. I hereby release and forever discharge you and each of your employees from any losses I may suffer relating to Fire, Theft, damage to or loss of my vehicle and/or any items contained therein that are caused by circumstances beyond Canadian Auto Napa (Canadian auto remarketing (car) ltd) control.

AUTO REPAIR WARRANTY ON ALL INSTALLED PARTS AND LABOR: (IF APPLICABLE).

Should you experience any trouble with your vehicle related to any repairs and parts installed at Canadian Auto Napa that we might have provided you within the 30-days or 3,000 kms warranty period please call our facility directly and bring your vehicle back to us, we will work quickly to resolve any issues with the work performed on your vehicle since the last visit. Please be advised that you must bring the vehicle back to our shop for us to provide any applicable warranty for the work done to your vehicle, if you decide to take your vehicle to another shop to fix it, we will not be able to provide you with any further assistance with parts replacement or warranty. The shop is not responsible for any problems caused by third-party parts or services. If for some unforeseen reason within 30 days of the date that the work was performed, if you have any issues with the work that was done, bring the vehicle back to us and we will gladly check the work that we performed and we will make sure that the work and parts installed are in good working condition, if it does not comply we will fix it without any additional cost to the customer. No refunds can be made at any time on any service work performed after the customer picks up the vehicle. A buyer of this product has the right to have this product serviced or repaired during the warranty period. The warranty period will be extended for the number of whole days that the product has been out of the buyer’s hands for warranty repair. If a defect exists within the warranty period, the warranty will not expire until the defect has been fixed. The warranty period will be extended if the warranty repairs did not remedy the defect, and the buyer notifies the manufacturer or seller of the failure of the repairs within 60 days after sale.

NAPA INSTALLED PARTS: NAPA “PEACE OF MIND” NATIONWIDE LIMITED WARRANTY 12 MONTHS / 20,000 KILOMETRES.

This limited warranty is extended only to you, the original purchaser and not to anyone who may purchase your vehicle from you during the term of the warranty. This limited warranty is made by the Independent Repair Facility (“NAPA Dealer”) who is so named on the original repair order and who performed the service/repairs on your vehicle. This warranty will be honoured by any NAPA AUTOPRO or NAPA Auto Care Dealer (“NAPA Dealer”) participating in this program or any other authorized repair facility anywhere in Canada or the United States.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY

Air Conditioning, heating and climate control systems / Brake system / Clutches – clutch component or assembly repair and replacement / Engine cooling systems / Engine performance, drivability services and repairs / Electronic engine management system and other onboard computer systems, (engine, body, brake and suspension computers), cruise control systems / Emission control system / Starting and Charging systems / Electrical systems / Exhaust system / Ignition system / Fuel systems
M. Steering/suspension systems, wheel bearings, CV joints/U-joints, Half-shafts and drive shafts / Other minor repairs.

The NAPA Dealer warrants that the above repairs and services performed at their location will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months or 20,000 kilometres of use, whichever comes first, measured from the date of the first repair and the odometer reading shown on the original repair order. This warranty is conditional on the vehicle being subjected only to normal use and receiving reasonable and necessary maintenance during the warranty period. Warranty repair costs shall in no case exceed the costs of the original related repair or service. If there is a defect in either materials or workmanship within the warranty period, the NAPA Dealer shall have the option to either perform remedial service work at no charge to you, replace the defective warranted part(s) without charge to you or refund to you the entire charge for the warranted repairs, minus any previous refunds or credits. 

WHERE YOU CAN OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

If you are less than 40 kilometres away from the original NAPA Dealer location, you must return your vehicle to the NAPA Dealer location where the warranted service was performed and present your copy of the repair order to the NAPA Dealer. If your vehicle is inoperable, and you are more than 40 kilometres away from the original facility, you may be eligible for certain towing and/or rental car benefits as determined by the Warranty Administrator. If you are not aware of participating NAPA Dealer locations in your area, then you must call the Warranty Administrator, at 1-866-GET-NAPA, (1-866-438-6272) between the hours 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday (Eastern Time) and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday (Eastern Time), excluding holidays. The Warranty Administrator will direct you to the nearest participating NAPA Dealer location. If there are no participating NAPA Dealer locations in your area, the Warranty Administrator will direct you to a non-NAPA Dealer location.

WHAT YOU MUST DO TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

You must keep a copy of the original repair order and present it when seeking service under this warranty. If warranty work is performed, you must temporarily surrender possession of this repair order.

If there are no participating NAPA Dealer locations in your area, you must obtain authorization from the Warranty Administrator prior to any warranty repair work by calling 1-866-GET-NAPA (1-866-438-6272). If the non-participating repair facility (“Facility”) location will not accept payment from the Warranty Administrator, you must pay for the warranty service and submit a legible copy of your original repair order and warranty service repair order to the Warranty Administrator for review.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY

You must pay for any non-warranty service you order to be performed at the same time as the warranty service. If any customer declines necessary services or repairs when these services or repairs were recommended in writing by the servicing Facility and are deemed necessary by the manufacturer in the proper completion of the original work undertaken, no warranty shall apply. This warranty will not apply to your repaired vehicle if it has been damaged by abnormal use, misuse, neglect, accident, alteration or “tampering with” (by other than the NAPA Dealer or Facility or NAPA Dealer and/or Facility Employees). The NAPA Dealer and Facility’s employees and/or agents do not have authority to modify the terms of this warranty nor to make any promises in addition to those contained in this warranty. This warranty does not in any way include

INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (additional expenses which you may incur as the result of faulty repair or service). This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from province to province. This warranty does not cover repair(s) or replacement(s) except as listed in the section “What is Covered by this Warranty,” even though the NAPA Dealer or Facility may offer other services. Specifically excluded are any repairs involving used or salvaged parts, customer supplied parts and/or replacement, or removal of internally lubricated parts and other such repairs as listed below. Automotive repairs excluded from the Limited Nationwide Warranty include but are not limited to:

AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY

This warranty does not cover repair(s) or replacement(s) except as listed in the section, “What is Covered by this Warranty,” even though the NAPA Dealer or Facility may offer other services. Specifically excluded are any repairs involving replacement or removal of internally lubricated parts and other such repairs as listed below. Automotive repairs excluded from the Limited Nationwide Warranty include:

I ENGINE (excluding external engine seals and gaskets)

  1. Any internal repairs or replacement of internal components or replacement of engine assembly including heads, head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets

II TRANSMISSION, TRANSAXLES, DIFFERENTIALS (excluding external seals and gaskets)

  1. Automatic – any internal repair or component replacement
  2. Manual – any internal repair or component replacement
  3. Differential – any internal repair or component replacement

III HUB ASSEMBLIES

  1. When installed on worn shafts ends

IV AUTO BODY, PAINT, TRAILER OR MOULDING REPAIR

  1. Any repair or materials related to auto body repair work
  2. Glass related repairs
  3. Trailering related repairs

V REPAIRS PERFORMED ON COMMERCIAL USE VEHICLES with a load carrying capacity greater than 1 ½ tons are excluded

VI OFF-ROAD, (Construction, Mining, Agriculture) RACING and RECREATIONAL VEHICLES (this warranty will cover eligible mechanical repairs performed on Class B & C Motor homes when the wheel diameter is no greater than 19.5”)

ESTIMATE/QUOTE DISCLAIMER!

All customers must understand that prices here are an estimate prepared prior to tear down and are NOT a firm quotation. customers hereby authorize the repair work to be done. along with the necessary material and hereby grant (Canadian Auto Napa) Canadian Auto Remarketing and/or its employees’ permission to use the vehicle for testing and/or inspection. Garage keeper’s Lien is hereby acknowledged on above vehicle.

While working on your vehicle, sometimes certain parts might be difficult to remove and they might brake when we try to replace it due to excessive rust or they are completely seized, we can not be responsible or liable for replacing any part that brakes due to your vehicle condition at the time of vehicle being serviced.

I understand that there may be other parts of my vehicle that have been damaged as may be discovered by the mechanic. In such a case where the said mechanic makes recommendation to fix the other parts which is beyond the agreement, I understand that I have a choice to follow the recommendations at an added cost, as well as the choice to decide otherwise. However, I understand that it is advisable to fix the damage to prevent further damage that may happen in the future as suggested.

Estimates approximate charges to you, and they are based on the expected details of the work to be done. It is possible for unexpected complications to cause some deviation from the estimate. If added parts or labor totaling over $100.00 are needed, the customer will be contacted at once for prior approval before the work is started.

TIRES AND WHEELS:

After we install tires and wheels and you reach 100 to 150 kms of driving you are required to Re-Torque the wheels, just bring your car back to have your wheels re-torqued, no appointment required, and this is a free service here and at all other shops.

We are not responsible for any existing damage to mag or custom wheels when changing tires. If the lug nut was already cross threaded from an earlier tire removal the lug might break off trying to remove the tire this time. More than likely, the lugs were over-torqued on prior occasions and the studs were already stretched.

TEARDOWN ESTIMATE:

While the customer has the sole right to choose which parts are used for repairs to the listed vehicle, (Canadian Auto Napa) Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd reserves the right to exercise professional judgment and refuse to make repairs using parts which are considered inadequate or unsafe.

OLD PARTS:

Customers can ask that all old parts be replaced and be given back at the time that they pick up their vehicle. After the vehicle is picked up all parts will be sent to the metal recycling yard for immediate disposal and will not be available for return.

I hereby certify that I have the legal right to authorize repairs for the vehicle listed vehicle and to take the steps necessary to perform the repairs listed in this contract, including any necessary on-road vehicle testing. I agree to pay in full for the services described above upon successful completion of all listed auto repairs prior to picking up their vehicle from (Canadian Auto Napa) Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd. I agree to pay for all parts, labor, fees, taxes, and other charges incurred during the performance of any repairs authorized by Me listed in the Repair work order. Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd will provide an invoice upon completion of repairs detailing all fees and listing a final outstanding balance for payment. Payment must be made in full before the vehicle will be returned to customer. All part stays the property of Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd until the invoice is paid in full. I hereby grant Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd consent to access my motor vehicle/operator data for the purpose of ensuring responsibility and accountability for actions such as payment of debits associated with Canadian Auto Remarketing (car)

LOST OR STOLEN:

Canadian auto remarketing (car) ltd will not be responsible for loss or damage to vehicle to articles left in the vehicle in case of fire, theft, accident or any other cause beyond control.

STORAGE:

Fees will be applied to vehicles each calendar day starting with the day of arrival if the vehicle is not picked-up by the customer once all the work is finished or if the vehicle is not repairable and it needs to be removed from our yard once the customer is notified by phone or email. The daily storage rate is $70.00 per day + GST. All outstanding fees must be paid in full (no partial payments are accepted) prior to release.

ALL INVOICES ARE DUE ON RECEIPT:

All repair order and invoices stand for the entire legal agreement between Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd and the customer. No other promises or arrangements outside of this contract and next repair authorizations shall be considered valid. Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd. A 2% per month (24% per annum) interest will be charged on all overdue and unpaid accounts. All part stays the property of Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd until the invoice is paid in full. All customers must grant Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd consent to access my motor vehicle/operator data for the purpose of ensuring responsibility and accountability for actions such as payment of debits associated with Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd.

I acknowledge that, upon the completion of the repair work authorized hereby, you will have a lien pursuant to applicable repair and storage lien legislation and that you may register that lien and seize, at your discretion and at my sole cost and expense, the vehicle for non-payment of any invoice issued for such repair work. By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions.

I hereby authorize or have authorized the work repair to be done upon my vehicle using necessary tools and materials. Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd shall not be responsible or liable for loss, damage due to fire, theft, accident, or other causes beyond Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd control, including impeding damage to the vehicle which may arise during the repair.

Canadian Auto Napa (car) Ltd shall not be responsible or liable for loss, damage due to fire, theft, accident, or other causes beyond Canadian Auto Napa (car) Ltd  control, including impeding damage to the vehicle which may arise during the repair.

All personal information collected by Canadian Auto Napa Auto Care Centre in St Albert a division of (Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd) is protected under the Privacy Act of Alberta.
