Mobile Auto Repair FAQ
I only have street parking; will that be a problem when performing the service? We will not perform the service on the street for the safety of our technicians. Customers must make alternative arrangements for a safe location.
Are the mechanics fully licensed and certified? Yes, all tests and repairs are performed by licensed mechanics.
How long will my appointment take? We allow a minimum of one hour for the Diagnostic or Multi-Point Inspection to be completed.
Will I receive a written quote for the repair? Services provided will be listed on a written quote. Quotation and invoice price may change up to a maximum of ten percent (10%). Any changes in final invoiced price that exceed ten percent (10%) of the originally quoted price will need the client’s approval before continuing. Large repairs can reveal further issues during disassembly that could not have been discovered during the initial diagnostic. This may require clients to further approve additional work required to successfully complete larger repairs.
Can all repairs be done at my home? Several repairs can be done at your home; however, some repairs may require you to take your vehicle to our shop or request a tow truck if the vehicle is not driveable or unsafe to be driven on public roads.
Can I request specific repairs or maintenance tasks? Yes, you may request specific repairs or maintenance tasks if you are aware of any issues. We will provide you with a free quote for the repair or maintenance task.
How do I pay for the service? Once the service is complete, the technician will process payment. They accept Visa and Mastercard. All customers must grant Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd consent to access my motor vehicle/operator data for the purpose of ensuring responsibility and accountability for actions such as payment of debits associated with Canadian Auto Remarketing (car) Ltd. I acknowledge that, upon the completion of the repair work authorized hereby, you will have a lien pursuant to applicable repair and storage lien legislation and that you may register that lien and seize, at your discretion and at my sole cost and expense.
Do I need to be present when the technician arrives? Yes, you will need to greet the technician before the service is performed, and complete payment at the end of the service.
Will the technician let me know when they are on their way? Yes, you will receive a phone call from the technician when they are on their way.
What kind of dwellings can the services be performed at? We provide service at all residential housing, including condominiums and apartments.
Where do I park my vehicle for my service? The vehicle must be parked outside with a minimum of three metres (10 feet) of space between vehicles or other obstructions.
Can the service be performed in my garage? We prefer the vehicle to be parked outside with a minimum of three metres (10 feet) of space between the vehicle and other obstructions. We will only perform the service in a garage if the weather is inclement and there is adequate room in the garage to perform the service safely.
Can service be provided in underground parking garages? Yes, however, it is the customer responsibility to locate a viable spot to complete the service with adequate space.
What is the cancellation policy for service appointments? If you need to cancel your appointment, we kindly request that you do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Failure to provide adequate notice of cancellation may result in a charge of $45 + HST to your credit card. This policy allows us to better accommodate our customers and optimize our scheduling.
What kind of vehicles will you work on? We can only perform a service on four-wheel passenger vehicles and 1/2-ton trucks (i.e. F150, Sierra, Silverado, Tundra, Ram1500, etc.). We cannot service, trailers, RVs or campers. we reserve the right to cancel appointments if the vehicle’s make/model is unserviceable.
Can I have the service performed at my workplace? Yes, we can perform the service if you have written permission on company letterhead from the business owner.
Is there a warranty?
Any Napa Parts installed offers a one-year, 20,000-kilometre warranty on all parts, products and labour from the date of purchase. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee policy. If you are not 100% satisfied with the services that Canadian Auto Napa provided, notify us within 30 days following the service so that we can resolve any pending issues with the work that we provided.
If the customer takes their vehicle to another mechanic to diagnose a repair or issue that they believe was caused after receiving our services, they must first give Canadian Auto Napa the opportunity to inspect and correct any problems covered under warranty. Otherwise, the warranty is entirely void.
There is no warranty on client-supplied parts. Labour provided in relation to client-supplied parts is not covered under warranty unless otherwise agreed upon in a written contract. If a client-supplied part fails or does not work due to a manufacturer defect, it is not covered by the company, and you will need to contact the part supplier to cover the part and the associated labour to replace it. Warranties on company-supplied parts may include a replacement part by the supplier when a refund is not applicable.
The warranty is void when damage is caused to your vehicle by rough use or misuse. For commercial vehicles, see the vehicle owners’ manual for proper routine maintenance, general misuse and neglect.
Alterations/modifications to the vehicle with aftermarket parts or external causes, such as fires, accidents, etc., are not covered under warranty. Work not scheduled through the company or paid to the mechanic directly and not through the company’s program or system is not covered under warranty.
Any issue or pre-existing mechanical/electrical issue not related to the repair scheduled for or not known by the mechanic is not covered under warranty. For example, replacing an old, brittle water pump and hoses is not covered.
Repairs requested by the client for the mechanic to perform that were not included in the initial contract are not covered by warranty and will incur extra fees at the client’s expense.
The consequential effects of services performed (e.g., a differential fluid change completed but failing to operate properly because it cannot handle the new fluid) are not covered under warranty.
